There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics trackers, and nothing is sold to anyone. If you buy the full version, we store your purchase email so we can recognise your purchase. If you join the email list, we store your name and email for that. One cookie remembers that your browser has used the app. That's the whole story.
If you buy: a purchase record — the email address you used at checkout and a reference to the transaction — kept in our purchase store. It exists for exactly one reason: so we can recognise your purchase and restore your access on any device, forever. Card details never reach us; Stripe handles the payment end to end.
If you join the email list: your first name and email address, held in MailerLite (our list provider), used for occasional tips and news. No spam, ever, and you can unsubscribe from any email in one click.
If you do neither: we store nothing about you at all.
We set one cookie of our own: tl_returning. It marks that your browser has used the app, so that visiting tonelogic.app takes you straight into the app instead of showing you this website's front page again. It identifies nobody, tracks nothing, and follows you nowhere.
During checkout, Stripe may set cookies of its own as part of processing the payment securely — those are covered by Stripe's privacy policy.
The app also keeps its settings — things like your chosen key and display preferences — in your browser's local storage, on your device. That data never leaves your device.
Three, each with one job:
Nobody else. No ad networks, no analytics platforms, no data brokers.
The purchase record is kept for as long as Tone Logic exists — it is what makes your purchase permanent. The email list entry is kept until you unsubscribe.
Under UK data protection law you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. For anything on the email list, the unsubscribe link is the fastest route. For anything else, email hello@tonelogic.app — one thing worth knowing: if you ask us to delete your purchase record, we lose the ability to restore your purchase, so we'll confirm before doing it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and any meaningful change will be described plainly on this page.
